From the Sea by R8chelK & Co. was inspired by Rachel's love for the sea. Having traveled frequently to Charleston to visit family as a young girl and into adulthood, the local beaches quickly became a second home.  Rachel and her family moved their small insurance business to Summerville, SC in 2022 to be closer to family (okay...the beaches were a priority too). By 2023 they found themselves with an abundance of seashells that were going to have to be used or given back to the sea, and with that a new business was formed in their once formal dining room. After great reception on the internet, Rachel and her husband, Ryan, took their new venture to the Historic City Market in Charleston in June of 2024 and have stayed VERY busy thanks to the wonderful customers we meet daily at the market.
